NEW ORLEANS -- Jason Kidd wasnt going to discount the performance of his young Milwaukee Bucks squad simply because it came against the winless New Orleans Pelicans. When a coach sees six of his players score in double digits, three players grab 10 or more rebounds and five guys playing effective team defense in the clutch, on the road, its hard to be critical. They all competed, Kidd said. We do not win if we dont play defense well. I thought we made plays. We made the stops.Giannis Antetokounmpo capped a 24-point, 10-rebound performance with a pivotal 3-pointer with 1:34 to go, Jabari Parker added 21 points, and the Bucks defeated the Pelicans 117-113 on Tuesday night. We shared the ball, Kidd said. We got those open shots.Anthony Davis scored 35 points -- the third time he has scored at least that many -- to go with 15 rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals. But once again, it was not enough for New Orleans, which has dropped its first four games, including three at home.We cant get a win. Its frustrating, Davis said. But whatever we need to do, we need to do it fast.Milwaukee rookie Malcolm Brogdon had his best game yet, scoring 14 points -- 10 in the second half. Tony Snell had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks, while Rashad Vaughn scored 12 points and Matthew Dellavedova had 11 points and eight assists.Tonight was the first night that we really trusted our offense and executed what we practice, Brogdon said. We stuck to the game plan and played like a team all the way through. The Bucks looked to pound the ball inside and the Pelicans offered little resistance. Milwaukee scored 58 points in the paint, compared to 38 for New Orleans -- which annoyed Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry.Theres just no excuse for not talking defensively and we talked about the fact that when you play this team, theyre going to drive the ball, Gentry said. They got half of their points in the paint. Weve got to do a better job.The Bucks also outrebounded the Pelicans 50-42.Tim Frazier had 20 points and nine assists for New Orleans, while Solomon Hill added 18 points and ETwaun Moore had 17. Hill and Moore combined to shoot 6 of 10 from 3-point range. Rookie Buddy Hield, the NBAs sixth overall draft pick, scored 10 points, but was just 1 of 6 from 3-point range. Were not worried about the offensive part, Davis said. Defense is where weve got to become better and is starts with communication.TIP-INSBucks: New Orleans native Greg Monroe was productive off the bench for the Bucks, grabbing 11 rebounds to go with six points, six assists and a block in less than 18 minutes. ... G Jason Terry, who missed Milwaukees previous two games because of a death in the family, was back with the team in New Orleans but did not play.Pelicans: After making five of their first seven 3-point attempts, the Pelicans missed nine straight before finishing 9 of 26 from long range. ... Davis continued to average nearly a point per minute on the court this season. He played 37 minutes against Milwaukee.BLOSSOMING ROOKIEKidd praised the poise and production Brogdon brought to the Bucks in only his fourth regular season game.We trust Malcolm when hes on the floor, Kidd said. Hes going to make some rookie mistakes, but no one panics -- he doesnt panic. He keeps playing and every time hes on the floor, he gets better.Brogdon said coaches and teammates have helped his confidence through the faith they show in him. My team is always talking to me and its just very helpful when you have people that believe in you and want you to do well.MOMENTUM SWINGSThe Pelicans led by as many as nine points early, but the Bucks took a 12-point lead in the third quarter when Antetokounmpos layup made it 74-62.New Orleans responded with an 11-0 run that began with Moores 3 and ended with Hills 3, but the Bucks rebuilt a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter with a 13-4 run that included Brogdons dunk and his 3-pointer.The Pelicans got as close as 114-112 on Davis floater with 1:46 left, but Antetokounmpo hit his late 3 and New Orleans didnt recover.UP NEXTBucks: Host Indiana on Thursday night.Pelicans: Visit Memphis on Wednesday night.Air Max 180 Canada . The Longhorns (14-4, 3-2) got their biggest win of the season with their third in the row in the Big 12.The top four go head-to-head on Super Sunday this weekend - but who will come out on top?Premier League leaders Leicester travel to Arsenal before Manchester City host Tottenham. Here, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp analyses the tactical battles at the Emirates and the Etihad and predicts the results… Arsenal v Leicester How will Arsenal deal with Jamie Vardys pace? Leicester will allow Arsenal plenty of possession on Sunday. Very rarely do you see a team win the title without dominating the ball but Leicester average about 40 per cent possession in every game and theyre so comfortable doing that. They soak up pressure and let the ball go into wide areas because they know theyve got Robert Huth and Wes Morgan who can head clear any cross that isnt inch-perfect. On top of that, those centre-backs have got great protection in front of them with NGolo Kante and Danny Drinkwater. Leicester arent interested in having the ball. Every time they havent got it, theyll get back into shape, wait for their moment, wait for the gaps - like they did against Man City - and theyll exploit it. Then theyve got the explosive pace of Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, Marc Albrighton and Shinji Okazaki. Arsene Wenger always trusts Per Mertesacker but he must be having a few sleepless nights worrying about what hes going to do defensively. Jamie Redknapp Team news is going to be really important in this game. Arsene Wenger always trusts Per Mertesacker, hes never really left him out in big games. But he must be having a few sleepless nights worrying about what hes going to do defensively.Does he go with Mertesacker against the pace of Vardy and Albrighton down that side? Or does he play Gabriel Paulista alongside Laurent Koscielny? Unheralded stars We look at some of Leicesters less heralded players The latter pair would be the quicker options but you still need height in the team and Mertesacker has vast amounts of experience. Its a difficult one, and one of the biggest decisions Wenger will have to make for this game. But if Mertesacker does play, expect Vardy to go and stand right by him, and look to get the better of the high line he likes to play.Arsenal are favourites in my opinion, because of what they did earlier in the season. They won 5-2 at Leicester thanks to some great pace on the break and a hat-trick from Alexis Sanchez, who was dynamite that day. Aaron Ramsey and the Arsenal midfield must move the ball quickly, says Redknapp However, theyll have to start quickly on Sunday. Man City were shocking against Leicester last week but, crucially, they didnt get going. City couldnt get out of their box in the first few minutes and then conceded the all-important first goal.If Arsenal concede the first goal, Leicester will sit back and wait for them and then pounce. The Sanchez factor We examine Alexis Sanchezs importance to Arsenal To break Leicester down, Arsenal will need to move the ball quickly. Thheyll have an extra man in midfield, so should have passing options, but whenever Mesut Ozil picks the ball up hell be aware Kante and Drinkwater will be breathing down his neck.dddddddddddd Theyll need to move it rapidly and precisely.Im predicting a narrow Arsenal win - but it will be a really good game with plenty of goals.Man City v Tottenham Man Citys Raheem Sterling must step up and deliver against Spurs, says Redknapp Manchester City were very poor against Leicester last weekend - but theyve been poor against all the top six teams this season. Its so frustrating watching Man City because theyre so good at times. But if their opponent has any defensive organisation and can stop them playing, theyll lose. Thats an ominous sign for them this weekend with Tottenham, the team with the best defensive record in the Premier League, in town. Can Spurs stop Aguero? Sergio Aguero is the third-highest scorer against Spurs It will be interesting to see how Spurs cope with Citys attacking threats, though. Since Jan Vertonghens injury, Kevin Wimmer has come in and done well, helping the team keep clean sheets against Norwich and Watford. But this is a completely different test.Sergio Aguero is a great player and will run Wimmer into areas he doesnt want to go. The City striker is so sharp that if he faces you up in the box, youre in big trouble. The question is, who will support him? David Silva was better against Leicester and seems to be on his way back to his best but City are missing Kevin De Bruyne. With the Belgian out injured, this is the type of game where Raheem Sterling - who has done OK this year - needs to step up and show what he can do. Harry Kane scored as Tottenham beat Manchester City 4-1 at White Hart Lane I dont see Tottenham getting beaten here, though. Theyve got themselves into a great position in the league and Ive not seen them this confident since they qualified for the Champions League.Vincent Kompany has returned to training but Im not sure whether hell be ready to start - and thats good news for Harry Kane. If youre a centre-forward youd love to play against Nicolas Otamendi and Martin Demichelis right now. Nicolas Otamendi is such a talented player but Ive never seen a player dive in as much as him. Jamie Redknapp Otamendi is such a talented player but Ive never seen a player dive in as much as him. The poor kit man at Man City must have his work cut out cleaning his shorts! Top defenders dont play like that - but he goes lunging in.As for Demichelis, he looks OK with Kompany alongside him. But without his skipper he looks uncomfortable, like a midfielder playing centre-back.So there will be opportunities for Spurs. However, I think this one will end up as a score draw.
