Scott Dann wants Crystal Palace to reach the 40-point mark as soon as possible after a run of 11 Premier League matches without a win.Having not tasted victory in the league since December 19, the Eagles are in danger of getting sucked into the relegation battle. While they are still nine points above the bottom three ahead of their Super Sunday clash at home to Liverpool, Dann is keen to ensure survival as soon as possible. When you look at the league, we are starting to slip down and every game you end up being closer (to the relegation zone), Dann told Sky Sports. At this stage of the season, its all about points rather than performances. There are teams scrapping for their lives and we have to do that. Until you get to that 40-point mark, anything can happen. We need to get there as soon as possible. The lads are confident we can turn it around. Getting a few players back from injury and Connor (Wickham) scoring a few goals should give us more confidence heading into the last 10 games. Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew says his side need a win to kick start their season We know what we are capable of and on our day, we can beat anyone in the league. Its about recapturing the type of form and the way we were playing previously. After a promising start to the season that featured wins at Chelsea and Liverpool, Palace were being talked about as potential top-six contenders. However, Dann admits they have been affected by injuries to Yannick Bolasie and James McArthur as their form has tailed off. They are big players for us and we havent got the biggest of squads, he said. A couple of the games we havent been at the races and have been disappointed with the performances, but a lot of the other games we have been in them for the majority and ended up on the wrong side of the result. Scott Dann scored the winner against Liverpool earlier in the season We havent won any of them, so its time to put it right. We need to get our season back on track.Dann, a Liverpool fan born in the city, scored the winner earlier in the season as Palace won 2-1 at Anfield. He is expecting a tough test against Jurgen Klopps side, who impressed in midweek with a 3-0 victory against Manchester City. Jamie Redknapp joins Ed Chamberlin to preview the Super Sunday fixtures as Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace For Liverpool, the biggest thing has been inconsistency, says Dann. They blew City away at the Etihad and then played well the other night against them, the performance and quality is there but they have lacked consistency to challenge for the top positions in the league. Its going to be tough. They will press high the way the manager likes, so we have to be ready for that. We know what they are capable of, so we need to be ready and try to get the first win in a while. Also See:C Palace v Liverpool previewWickham sent for scanPalace fixturesGet a free £10 betLorenzo Cain Brewers Jersey .Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres have placed centre Cody Hodgson on injured reserve and recalled two players from their AHL affiliate in Rochester.
