That potentially includes a second Tommy John reconstructive surgery. Hudson had his first such surgery last July and had progressed to the point of making a rehab start Tuesday for Double-A Mobile. But he left the mound after feeling stiffness in the elbow, and the subsequent exam in Phoenix uncovered the second tear. Two seasons ago, Hudson was 16-12 with a 3.49 ERA.
