He was a surprise inactive last week with a wrist injury after practicing two of three days.Riddick has not practiced this week, and Lions coach Jim Caldwell said Thursday that the running back is healing.Riddick has 92 carries for 357 yards this season, but his biggest value is as a receiver. He is one of the top pass-catching running backs in the NFL with 53 receptions for 371 yards.With Riddick unlikely to play, the Lions will rely on rookie Dwayne Washington and second-year pro Zach Zenner to handle the majority of the carries out of the backfield.
